After upgrading the speakers in my Tacoma I knew the that unless I replace the factory stereo its not going to sound any better or louder. I started researching in dash PCs but ended up decided that I wanted to use iOS vs Android os. I decided to use my iPad but I wanted to use but I also wanted it to be removable. I got the initial design idea from Doug Bernards from the Sound Man Car Audio. Once it gets a little bit nicer out I plan to redesign the dock. I want to permanently mount the iPad and create a channel for the front facing camera similar to this. Subscribe to the right to get updates on my progress.
